NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Starting on Oct. 25, Taylor Swift will take over New Orleans for three nights at the Caesars Superdome. Fans and businesses are already getting ready for it. At a French Quarter boutique, they are getting ready with their friendship bracelet-making classes for all “Swifties.”

It is time for bead shaking and a bead making party for “Shake It Off” superstar Taylor Swift.

“Come on in, get a tray and make your own bracelet, and you get to pick out your own beads,” Stephanie Henry, sales associate at Passion Lilie in the French Quarter said.

Over at Passion Lilie, they are hosting several “Swiftie” friendship bracelet-making parties.

“It is something you can take with you to the concert, and it is your own personalized thing that you made,” she said.

They have a variety of beads to choose from.

“We have shiny beads, star beads, beads with initials, different color beads; some are small, some are big, and some are medium-sized,” Henry said.

Jeweler, former art teacher and shop owner Beatrix Bell will be the one teaching all the Taylor Swift fans how to make the fun bracelets.

“In learning how to make a bracelet, it will also teach you how to make other individual accessories,” Henry said.

Making and shaking, all part of the “Swiftie” mania.

They will be offering multiple dates and times all week from now through Oct. 26 to accommodate various schedules.
