Zoë Kravitz is keeping her ring finger out of sight following her split from ex-fiancé Channing Tatum.

Kravitz, 35, was spotted out and about in New York City on Wednesday, October 30. The actress walked around the Big Apple sporting an oversized blue coat, a Yankees cap, sunglasses, a white tank top and blue trousers. The sleeves of Kravitz’s coat covered her hands.

Later that day, Kravitz was photographed again in a new look. Instead of a coat, she opted for a gray hoodie and baggy black pants. As she strolled along the busy streets, she kept her arms crossed. While her fingers were obstructed by her posture, it appeared that she was ringless.

Kravitz’s outing comes one day after news broke that she and Tatum, 44, called off their engagement. The pair first started dating in 2021 after forming a close bond on the set of their film Blink Twice. Tatum starred in the psychological thriller, which was originally titled Pussy Island, and Kravitz made her directorial debut. The pair got engaged two years later.

In August, Kravitz and Tatum were attached at the hip as they promoted the film together. The twosome constantly gushed over one another as they geared up for the premiere.

“Creating is our, like, love language,” Tatum said of working with Kravitz during an August appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. “Like, we really just enjoy that. I didn’t have any fear going into making a movie with somebody that you’re — you know, is the love of your life.”

While Tatum and Kravitz appeared to be a picture-perfect couple, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that things began to shift after the press tour was complete.

“Ultimately once the project ended, they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted,” an insider explained. “It fizzled fast after their press tour wrapped.”

The source noted that Tatum and Kravitz’s laid-back approach to planning a wedding also played a factor in their split.

“Wedding plans were looming, but neither of them were rushing to the altar,” the insider said, adding that it put “a lot of pressure on them.”

Before getting together with the Magic Mike actor, Kravitz was recently divorced from ex-husband Karl Glusman. Tatum, for his part, was previously married to Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares daughter Everly, 11. (Tatum and Dewan split in April 2018 but did not finalize their divorce until September.)

“Zoë is a very independent person. After her divorce, she expressed that she didn’t necessarily need to get married again,” the source explained of what led to the split. “She and Channing are opposites, but they always bonded over their love for art and film, and that is what held them together. They realized long-term that it wasn’t going to work out.”

While Kravitz and Tatum are no longer together, their split was “amicable” and the exes have “a lot of love between them,” per the insider. The exes are slated to work together again in the upcoming action-comedy, Alpha Gang.
