But in the current cost of living crisis it's incredibly difficult to part with hard earned cash.

Well if you’ve had your eye on the Bottega Veneta drop earring save your coin as fashion fans have found a dupe hundreds of pounds cheaper.

Bottega Veneta is leading with high street inspiration at the moment with braided, knot-handled handbags and chunky Chelsea boots all over the shops.

And the Bottega drop earrings are no different with the gold earring retailing for £520 and the silver ones priced at a staggering £810.

But who really has £810 to spend on a single pair of earrings?

One eagled eyed TikTok shared the dupe she found on Amazon nearly £800 cheaper.

Jourdan Sloane said video online: "You guys, it is official. I have found the Bottega earring dupe."

Jourdan argued: "You can't tell me that this isn't an exact dupe."

The earrings shown look very similar to Bottega Veneta's drop earrings, which feature a teardrop shape and gold finish

She said: "I was worried the quality was gonna be bad because they were $16.99 [£12.99], and I was like, they're gonna be so ugly, but they're absolutely perfect."

Jourdan confirmed the dupe was the same as had been tried on the real Bottega's.

She said: "I've tried on the real ones in person, and these are exactly the same.

The fashion fan said she was so excited she would be buying other colours.

She said: "I will be wearing these non-stop."

"I just ordered them in silver and green."

Of course, there is one main difference: the Bottega Veneta pair are sterling silver with an 18k gold finish, whereas the Amazon earrings are made from copper.

But considering how similar they look it's no wonder people are rushing to get their hands on a pair.

Jourdans video racked up over 300,000 views.

One user said: "Buying them STAT."

Another said: "Wait did you say GREEN?!? Running"
