For Pre-Spring 2024, Givenchy's creative director Matthew M. Williams fuels a masculine wardrobe with form and function. Reviving the Givenchy Gentleman archetype, the collection merges dressy silhouettes with of-the-moment pieces — many of which tastefully play into the current era's quiet luxury appeal.
Among the line, cashmere sweatsuits meet tailored looks, including white blazers and evening jackets, featuring brooch-like thistle emblems. A tailored overcoat, made with bonded suiting fabric, doubles as a technical outerwear offering, while a khaki boiler suit and a workwear jacket, done in gray marl or denim, supply more casual takes on the brand's signature suiting.
The collection blends the brand's Parisian history with California's cool, through varsity-inspired silhouettes that opt for shearling in lieu of cotton or nylon. Puffer jackets, meanwhile, are made sustainably with eco-nylon, and a razor-cut evening jacket furthers the line's West Coast identity when paired with punkish trousers.
In accessories, Givenchy welcomes the Essential U Backpack and the Voyou bag, in both classic and crossbody iterations. Elsewhere, duffles appear in double-face cashmere, while the G-Zip and Pandora don all-over Givenchy logos.
Givenchy's Pre-Spring 2024 collection will be available online and in stores in early November. Peruse the range in the gallery above.
